Final trailer
Above our final trailer is shown, from this you are able to see how we used our first attempt at the trailer to make improvements on the shots used as well as include a atmosphere in order to get the viewer in suspence, we achieved this by adding a fastest pace to the end of the trailer with a background soundtrack to build up the suspence. To make the shots seem more mysterious a darkened down the shots to give the audience a sense of not knowing whats going to happen. With matching the correct effective soundtrack to the certain shots allowed us to make the trailer show more effective. Overall, by using the practice trailer to improve allowed us to make shots better to make them show more mysterious, build up tension and make the shots overall more effective to the viewer. L.R

In order to create the Magazine cover we decided to take inspiration from 'The Unleashed' poster with the way victoria is posing/positioned. For the background we dediced to use an digy/worn background in order to show that the trailer represents an old worn cellar.
We carried on to think of an title in order to call our magazine. We came up with the title 'Vision' as we believed that it linked in with our theme of paranormal. We decided to use an red coloured font to make it stand out as well as link it with blood which is typically linked with horror. However we also dediced to use an white coloured font as this would also link with our main focus of paranormal and spirits.
With the use of 'Special Horror Edition' used boldly at the top of the page was used in order to attact the audience into wanting to buy the magazine. From putting worlds biggest horror magazine we be another method to attract the audience as this would make you believe its a good magazine to read.
By featuring 'The Crossing' title on the same as the on our poster and on the trailer would allow the audience to link them all together. This would be key for our media as we would want people to read the magazine then watch the film. This would be another way we could promote our film. By adding in 'Leanne Ricketts And Victoria Maximino cross over to the dark side' would be easy for the audience to remember.
'Exclusive interviews with Leanne Ricketts and Victoria Maximinio' and the 'Amazing start to 2013! with pictures identifying 3 films coming out at a similar time would be featured in order to give the reader an in sight in to what is featured within the magazine. This would be another method to attract the audience.
'Free poster inside!' and 'Unseen pictures inside!' would be method we used in order to make the magazine attractive to the audience. This would be in order to our magazine different to others as well as giving away an FREE poster would be another reason why they would want to choose our magazine. By featuring a scan would be an good method in order to show the new use of technology. The use of the colours would be in order to link in with film as well the white would represent paranormal and spirits compared to the red which would be seen as the typically colour for horror and blood. We decided to make a teaser trailer as this would another way we could advertise our trailer. Like the poster and the magazine we used the same title in order to link it back to our trailer. Again we used the colour theme of red and white as they worked well with our trailer idea as the white would represent the ghostly feel in pour trailer and the red to show blood.
We used both our names to be displayed at the top in order to show who produced the trailer. For the picture we decided to use the picture of Oscar with the candle and Ouija board from our poster as this would be immediately linked to our poster however for the teaser poster we decided to style the poster different in order to show how we thought of a different range in order to advertise our trailer. We used our tagline again below the title as like on the title the audience would be able to quickly link it to 'The Crossing'.

Aim:
Our aim is to make a teaser trailer for a horror film . This has to be suitable for an age range of 15 to 18 year olds ,and the time limit being around 90 seconds to 2 minutes .The aim of the trailer is to not give away to much of what is happening ,but to just draw in the audiences attention. L.R
what is a trailer?
A teaser trailer is a brief preview of the story of the film. From this it wouldn't allow the viewer to know to much about what is going to happen within the film but enough to show audience they need to watch it. They would do this by attracting the viewer by showing the key exciting parts that will be shown within the film. An trailer would be shown a selection of key shots which would be used as advertisement compacted into a maximum time of 2 minutes. If a trailer becomes longer than the 2 minuties then it may give the viewer too much of the film away. From just giving them a glimpse would make it show more effective. L.R
Our idea
For our inital idea we choose to do a paranormal genre. We liked the idea of this as it focused on a paranormal type of horror which is becoming more commonly used as seen on the google trends below. We gathered from this becoming more popular more people would want to watch this genre. We then decided we didn't want to used to use a typical weapon of an knife as it is very commonly used therefore we didn't include an weapon however we used a ouija board which caused damage to the victims in a phyicalogical way. This showned to be massivily effective in our trailer. L.R
From this we discover that as the years go on paranormal films is becoming more and more popular. This trend also shows for each year from 2010 onwards they have a peak period. L.R
Final idea
Two teenage girls move in to an old house they experience paranormal events in order to investigate what keeps developing the girls contact the spirit world using an Ouija board only to disturb the dead leading to more serious occurrences taking an impact on one girl resulting in her getting possessed leaving her friend to deal with the spiritual world alone v.m

We have to decided to work in a pair rather than a group of four by doing this we could natigate work between the two of us.
